Main Street Iowa is a network of over 50 communities across Iowa that have committed to following this framework for downtown revitalization. Program participants receive direct training, technical assistance, architectural and design support, business support, and more.

I'm Holly Stecker, a longtime Boone resident, small business owner, wife, and mom of three busy teens — and I’m thrilled to announce that I am now serving as your new Main Street Executive Director!
This exciting journey wouldn’t be possible without the hard work, dedication, and passion of so many people — from the incredible application committee to our many stakeholders, and our newly formed Board of Directors. Thanks to their efforts, Boone has earned its designation as an official Main Street Iowa community, one of only 52 in the state!
Main Street Iowa is all about improving the social and economic well-being of our communities, and I can’t wait to get to work alongside the district’s business owners, committee members, and our wonderful volunteers to make our downtown an even better place to live, work, and visit.
